Hey everyone,
I know that it has been a while but here I am trying to post again
Life is pretty good, just the normal aches and stresses that a normal teenager experiences.
School is still tough, but its almost over, and ill be going to south dakota soon!!!!
which will be epic!!!!

Just to let everyone know I am not stressed anymore!
I mean I do have present my speech first period tomorrow I am not as worried as I was yesterday no worries.
So I am ready and prepared and actually kind of excited to get it over with.
So life is good though I am stressed.

hmmmmm, what to write about next

Hey everybody,
I know that my last posts have been brief and almost texting like, well that is going to change. So officialy today I am going to write normally and hope for the best!

I started sophmore year this week, which I myself dont even believe! It is so strange not being the youngest in the school anymore and to see all of the freshman that look familar in middle school. One of my friends even yeld SEVIES (nickname for seventh graders here) and then realized that they werent anymore it is very very strange!

Its nice to have this blog though, I feel like i can vent here!

I know that when I was away I did not go into much detail about what I was doing there and why I was there in the first place, so if any of you have questions feel free to ask!!

So far school has been tireing and I wish my trip could of been longer,
I hope all of you had a fantastic summer and I wish you all the best!

I am soooo not ready to begin school!!!!
I have alot of hard classes this year including chemisty hon and alg II hon.
I also have to take oral composition and health

Back in the Happy Valley

Home again,
After being at camp for a couple of days the parents came and picked us up during a very tearful goodbye!
I came home tired and sad only to be there half the day and wake up early the next morning and drove down to the outerbanks in North Carolina!!!!
Which was amazing i totally recommend it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope you are all having a great summer and i am still sad not to be in Russia or Sweden!

I now have internet access at my swedish homestay!!!!
I am with one of the girls that i met at camp Brevik who is awesome and super nice.
the canoe ride i was telling you about was not 6 days but 8!!!!!!!!!
it was AWESOME and soooo much fun

SWEDEN!!

We arried in Sweden on friday after a 17 hour ride on a CRUISE which was really AWESOME!!!!
Though I did get a little sea sick!! yeah that would happen to me on a giant boat lol!! anyway yesterday was our first full day in Sweden and we walked for a while to go to this awesome street performance festival. When we arrived there the English Gents were performing and they we really funny and very impresive!!
by the end of the performance they were somehow in there british underwear!! LOL.
But before that we had a awesome picknick lunch in the park!!
After watching the english gents we realized that they were handing out free cokes and having a soccer tournement!
this soccer or futbol tournement involved people shooting a soccerball at the goal while its speed was measured in kilometers per hour.
If you had the highest speed by 3o´clock you won a soccerball. And one of the guys on my trip got 107 and won the soccerball!!!!!
which was awesome.
After the street festival we went to H and M and i got a really cute shirt and one of the girls on the trip picked hippster outfits for 3 of the guys which was hilarious!!!
All in all sweden is great and i am having a blast

Another day in Russia

Today was a rly good day,

we went to the Hermitage and learned all about the history!
which was really cool!!!
Then we had lunch at a cool cafe, next we had an AWESOME boat tour and afterwards we had a ice cream party at my host families house.
Afterwards we did some sovenier shopping and I got some things including a russian doll for my collection!!

anyway I forgot to tell all of you that for one of the service days we had to break down a fence and it was VERY dangerous!!

Today...

We started off the day waking up bright and early to blinis (crepes) and a fantastic breakfast. Afterwards my host family one of the girls in my group and I met up with the rest of the group to go to the Fire University!!
We took loads of pictures and I will post them when I get home, we got a tour of the building and we saw the engines, it was very cool!!
Afterwards we went to the mall for lunch and had a traditional russian meal.... it was good but not a fav!
After lunch we got to wander around the mall and the guys dragged us girls to store after store!!!!
After the mall we took a twenty minute walk to a park where we did our last service project in russia! :(
we had to dig out the weeds from underneath bushes and this took maybe a half hour. After this some people went to my host families apartment to get ready for the russian ballet of swan lake.
We got all dressed up and the ballet was absolutely amazing!!
Tomorrow we are going to the Hermitage and then going on a boat tour!!

ICEP sweden russia

hey everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!
i am right now in st. petersburg having a blast! I am with a program called ICEP and we travel to a country or 2 countries where we do community service and see the sites.
We got to st. petersburg on Wednesday and we are leaving on thursday for sweden!!!
We have done many service projects and have seen sooo many sites!!
my homestay family is great and the group is full of great people!!!
Tomorrow we have yet another service project and then we are going to the russian ballet which is swan lake!

Today turned out to be a snow day!!!!
Snow blower didn't cause of heaviness of the snow so we had to shovel. As I said the snow was heavy, and I mean really heavy!! Like break a shovel heavy (which we did) and now I am really sore!!!!!!!!!
But still NO SCHOOL today which is really nice, but now we have another day of school closer to the summer which is bad for me! Because I have to pack for the Sweden/Russia trip!

oh well guess I will have to deal.

It is morning again here at the happy valley home. I am tired after Vacation and I really dont want to go to school today. Mondays are not fun. In gym we are doing dangle duo which I DO NOT want to do.

As Vacation began in our happy valley home all of the rooms started to change!
our house is cluttered All except for mine and my bros and my parents! My room was moved into my bros and my bros was moved to the guest room. My old room since it is so big will become the den. Man and now school is starting back tomorrow I don't know if I can handle that!!!!!
And in other news I got a letter this week saying that I am going to SWEDEN AND RUSSIA!!! OMG I am soooooo psyched!!! I will be spending 8 days in St. Petersburg in Russia and 4 weeks in Sweden.
If anyone here knows any Swedish or has any suggestions please tell me.

I can't believe that I have started hs already!!!!! It feels like only yesterday I started ms. Any way my first day was very scary, I mean who wouldn't be it is a huge school. I have some great teachers and I have lunch and classes with ppl that I know!!!!

The Homework load is terrible!!!! I have sooooo much hw every night especially from my world civ teacher, I am sooo glad that I did not take honors.

I am sry that I have not posted in so long I have just had a rly tough year!!!

green party

This year in school we are doing a mock election. We have 4 parties Green, Communist, Democratic, and Independent. Weirdly the Republican party didn't make it.

I am part of the GREEN PARTY. And my dad is very surprised. I don't know much about the green party. So my dad is bugging me about it.

I also surprised him by saying that I get to video tape the election.

Wierd Cat

Me and El were walking along a road stopped and sat on a bench and talked for a couple minutes. Then we started walking back to El's house but a cat comes up to us and would not let us pass and it gave us the look of DEATH. We used my phone to call EL's mom because El said that she is a "expert on rabbi's".

We were hysterical. And then the cat left but watched us walk away. Then just as I was saying I hope we don't see another wierd cat a cat crosses the road. I said OMG and El turned around thinking that I saw the first when it was only a black puffy car. El first came to the conclusion that the cats were ganging up on us and surrounding us. But the cat crosses the road and it sat in the woods and watched us walk to the end of the road.

I came up with the theory that the cats were really people but transfigured as cats like in harry potter. But El did not believe it.

Then me and El met up with Z and we walked to the same spot hopping to see the cats again and prove that we are not CRAZY. But we did not see the cats again and luckily Z believed us.

Over all that was the WIERDEST ENCOUNTER I HAVE EVER HAD WITH A CAT.

Social Studies Election

This year since the elections are happening we are having our own elections.

We are having 4 parties or more or less. These four main parties are democratic, republican, Green, and Independent. We will each have our own jobs and be a part of the debates and election.

There will be a student being the president vice president for each party. ( but different people for the presidents and vice presidents). I don't want to be the running mate of the president or the president. I am excited for this election.

Halloween

I can't believe that halloween is coming up so soon I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :)

This year I am even more excited this year than I have ever been!!!!!!!!!!!!! This year my friend El invited me to a sleepover halloween party. We are all going to dress up as the players from clue. I am going to be Ms. White and El is going to be Cornell Mustard.

I am so exited!!! We are going to bob for apples, watch a movie and go trick or treating together in our fun costumes.

We are all going to go too the salvation army to get our costumes. If you have suggestions for what we should get and wear feel free to ask.

You can't live with them you can't live without them. Today my cousins and aunt came over for the weekend.

Also tomorrow my other aunt and my uncle are coming tomorrow. More and More people are coming tomorrow for a party we are having. I can't WAIT. But the house is going to be packed and overly crowded.

School Books

In my English class we have too books that have smaller stories inside of it. These stories are usually I find depressing. These two books are called America Street and Coming of Age In America.

In my math class we have a text book that is copy right 2009. How is this possible? You might ask. Well the company allowed the school who liked the text books too use them. We have found some mistakes in the book. This is because it is the rough draft.

All of my other subjects don't have textbooks other then spanish. But that book doesn't have a interesting story.

Town with friends

Last friday I went with 4 friends to town. Before going to town we waited for about 15 minutes for K to come. When we finally got outside there was a light drizzle. This drizzle was even worse earlier on in the day because we had to choose the one friday when the weather was overcast and rainy. When we got to the ice-cream place in town called Barts we all ordered ice-cream and started chatting over our ice-cream.

After Barts we went to the book store and read for about a 1/2 and hour. Once we were done with reading we went to this store called hastings. There we bought candy, pencils, and pens. Once we were done shopping we were at the library for 12 minutes. Once we were done we all went to a coffee shop where me and EL got hot chocolate. We called EL's mom picked me Z and EL.

Over all that day was a great one.

Math club

Over the summer I told my dad that I would join the math club if he got me a phone. But the thing is I can't complain. There in this kid at my school that calls me a nerd because I am joining the math club. I haven't started yet but I know that they compete. It was the only way for me to get a phone so I guess it is worth it.

camp out

Last night me and my church youth group had a camp out in our pastors backyard. It was sooooo much fun. The down side was that my tent leaked so I had puddles in the back of my tent and one of my pillows got soaked. We also had a camp fire. We roasted marshmallows and sang songs all of it was sooooo much fun.

today was the hottest day all this month it feels like. I was lucky enough to have gym today. I was so hot within the first two minutes. Even though we only walked me and all of my classmates were all hot and annoyed.

This morning mom work up later than usual so she hurried me out of bed. I got dressed fast and when I looked at the time I still had 45 minutes till the bus came. Right now dad is still asleep I can hear his snoring from the other room. My mom is hurriedly going over her checklist as she's going out the door. That is not a normal morning. my mom is usually ready to go when I get up.

I am back from the grind (school). School starts at 7:45 each and every morning. School also ends at 2:20 but I end up being home at 3:00. This is because I have to walk up my street to get to my house because the bus drops my and some other kids off at the end of our road. I had Gym last period today. That was not fun because it was so hot in the gym!!!!!!!!!!!:(. I also had drama. Drama was fun today cause we did this cool excise by saying 1 2 3 or 4 5 6. I had social studies today to it was okay he mostly talked the whole time. I am not saying that that is a bad thing cause he usually talks about interesting stuff. I had english today to. It was good he also talked allot but just to make sure that everyone knew what they were doing. Lastly I had spanish and orchestra. They were both fun. in orchestra I didn't bring my violin so I couldn't play. In spanish we just learned a couple new words.

My family and I moved to the happy valley when I was going into the third grade ( 5 years ago). We moved here so dad could get his mba. So we ended up staying. When we lived south of boston we lived on arnold rd. And now we live on arnold rd. what a coincidence.

With people any way. My family and I live on a hill. Our house is the hotspot during the summer. This is because we own a pool and we have a gorgeous view!!!!!:) During the summer people from all over the neighborhood come to swim and hang out. Also my friend C invite people from all over the community to play flashlight tag.

Bike riding

My little brother and I have been bike riding lots these past few weeks. This is because little brother just learned how to ride a two wheeler bike. He started on the grass and then he got onto the pavement and he took off. My little brother and I will ride up and down the road for hours at a time. I will cary a fanny pack with a water bottle in it and my phone.

There is a huge hill at the end of the road that is so much fun to go down. You go so fast that little brother screams.

Eighth Grade

I can't believe I had my first day of eighth grade on thursday it was unbelievable. Even after the second day I had a pile of Hw. I had HW for english, social studies, math, science, spanish, and even GYM. Most of these were just paperwork me and my parents had to fill out but there was a essay I had to write and a couple of summaries. My english teacher even gave my mom and dad an essay to write. It was so cool having to say to my parents that they now have HW to do!!! :)

Along with HW there is the usual procrastination going on. I very rarely start an HW assignment the day I got it unless it is due the next day. Unlike most people I love doing math. I even got into honors algebra YEAH HONORS ALGEBRA I can hardly believe it either.
